Over a grueling 18 holes, seven players persevered and managed to finish. Tanner Mills was not able to complete 9 holes on Sunday (she played 9 on Saturday) and withdrew. In the Scratch Tournament for Club Champion, three players finished with a combined score of 65. I used Seb’s advice, ”In my real life experience ties are settled by a count back, i.e., best score on the last hole of the round; and so on until there is a winner” to break the tie. Getme Somme continues as the club champion. Well done Getme! High praise also should go to JuanCruz Zarco for his second place and to Pussy Fanshaw for her third place. Using the Handicaps, Dillon Speculaas took home the first place win. I was the witness for these two… they not only play with good grace but are funny to boot.
