April Tournament Results
I am in a bit of a puzzle as to how to schedule the May Tournament. The normal schedule would have it being played on Saturday May 29th. However, in the United States, that Monday May 31st is Memorial Day. That means that it is a long weekend and some may be on holiday. That can be either good or bad for the players in the US…and many of our players are NOT in the United States. So what say the members? Especially the US members? Do you want to play on Saturday as usual? My inclination is to go ahead and schedule for Saturday unless there is sufficient number of requests to reschedule. The alternative date would be June 5th.

All the March trophies have gone out. And , as most know, I’ve “resigned” as “Trophy Chairman”.
In regards to the April Monthly tournament….there is, as far as I know, no given rule that states a monthly tourney HAS to be played at the end of the month. It’s, simply put, a tournament in that given month…(?)
Guy, just to make sure that I am clear…you have not done April trophies? Also when you comment about the April Monthly tournament do you mean the May Tournament? Thanks for clarifying if you could.

And , you are correct, meant to say May monthly, but….it’s, of course, applicable to all monthly events.
